Trade Shows can be overwhelming.  Whether this is your first show or you have been exhibiting for years, we’re sure you have questions about what to expect.  Our dedicated staff will help guide you in the right direction so that you can focus on your product and services and let us worry about the rest.  If you do not see the answer to your question below, please contact us directly and we can assist you today.

Material Handing is the fee the GC (General Contractor) for the show charges to deliver the booth freight from the docks to your booth space.   The amount charged is calculated based on the weight of the shipment.   The fee is based on the # of 100-pound increments in your shipment and referred to as CWT.  The fee per/100LB can be found in your Exhibitor Manual. 

1. Consolidate small shipments.  GC’s will charge a minimum for each shipment they handle.

2. Know your inbound target dates and times.  Check your Exhibitor Manual for the floorplans and times based on your location in the hall.

3. Use lightweight Materials for your booth construction.  Fabrics, Modular exhibit materials are a great alternative to custom fabricated wooden exhibits.


Take into consideration these questions: Does your budget take into account the cost to store, ship, drayage and lay carpet? Is your carpet a custom color, have multiple colors or custom inlays? If the answer to these questions is no, then you should RENT your carpet.

The Design Factory provides in-house services for your exhibit, graphics, furniture, A/V, carpet and pad, delivery and pick-up from show-site, Install and Dismantle. The show contractor will be handle electrical, rigging, internet, material handling, cleaning, etc. More information can be provided by you Account Executive.

We prefer hi-res jpeg or pdf and will also accept Illustrator or Photoshop files. Always try to submit files to be at least 100dpi at ACTUAL size. Please also allow for ½” bleed. Official art guidelines page will be provided by rep.

Our customers can count on us to travel with their exhibits upon request.  If the budget does not support DF travel costs, we have developed partnerships with trusted companies throughout the US and abroad that guarantee a smooth and successful show.

Turnaround times can vary.  The ideal project lead time is around 6 weeks for RENTAL and graphic production.  IF your project require custom fabrication and build, the lead times varies depending on the size of the project.  Contact a rep directly to get a accurate lead time based on your project scope.

An EAC is an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor, or outside contractor as opposed to using the GC. Our install and dismantle company, Network Convention Services holds union signatory agreement with Teamsters #631 and our union jurisdiction resides over the state of Nevada.
